went to church. lunch at the bakery. then spent the afternoon packing and trying to get my life organized and in order. went to the sga appreciation dinner at austin's. it was soo good and andrew ordered so much food for us! i got seafood. mmmm. it was a good way to end four long years of student government.

may 1

spent the day packing and took a load of my stuff over to my new apartment. went to the steakhouse with amy, kelly, and amy's sister christine. after that me, kelly, and mcgee went over to bruce and becky's for campfire night. i love camp/bonfires. it was relaxing and fun to just sit around, smell the fire, and roast marshmallows. :)

april 30

woke up and worked on my digital photo portfolio. had lunch with marie then went back to present my portfolio. for working on in last minute i was pretty happy with how it turned out. met up with jen and we went to pay our first month of rent and pick up our keys!!! ahh!!! we measured the windows and some of the walls for furniture and everything and decided on who gets what room. it's crazy that this is all actually happening. that night went to bruce and becky's with ashley for a movie night! we watched 'law abiding citizen.' so good. i strongly recommend it.

april 29

crazy crazy crazy thursday. thought i had to be at budget defenses at 9:30 am but found out that i didn't actually have to be there. so i stayed until 12 and went to get lunch at liberty with everyone. had piano juries at 3:55 then met up with catie hammond to take pictures of her for my photo portfolio. took pictures of her with buddah then balls got the brilliant idea to climb on the statue. after that went to the phonathon end of the year party for a little then had to go to the chapel to play in the senior recital. played a duet with kb and watched everyone else sing. busy day.

april 28

last day of classes!!! went to digital photo, senior sem, and french cinema for the last time everrr! high point has this tradition that the last day of class is panther palooza/spring concert. the concert this year was corey smith? yeah. no idea who he is...i went to ride the ferris wheel. went to the steakhouse for dinner with c.hamm, balls, and mcgee then hung out at dave rad's until the concert! the ferris wheel was one of the best ferris wheel rides ever! it was a good way to end the last day of classes.

um. so tuesday was kind of crazy. went to sign the lease to my apartment which felt like i was signing my life away...then i came back to campus and met with abby for the last time. :( she helped me figure out what to say at cru. spoke at cru that night about the past four years and what God has done and any advice i had. naturally my main pointer was to go on a summer project. ;) um. so this picture is of a youtube video that david sent me? i'm pretty sure that it was late at night and i realized that i hadn't taken a picture for the day yet...and well...this is what i got...

april 26

last week of classes! i thought that my senior sem paper was due today but when i got to class i found out that the deadline was extended until 12:30 on tuesday, which was kind of a relief because it meant that i had more time to edit and add to it. i was taking pictures of sarah ball for my final digital photo portfolio and walking back to my room and saw the crazy sky over the chapel. luckily i had my camera with me and got a picture of it! then when i was getting in my car to go to small group i saw a rainbow. what luck!

went to church at the journey then came back and worked on my senior sem paper all afternoon. took a study break for food and the petal points concert (which was amazing!) and then got back to paper writing.

senior pass down day! all of the phi mu seniors passed down phi mu and other fun stuff to the younger sisters. it was so weird to be passing down my stuff, it seems like just yesterday i was at my first pass down imagining what it would be like to be a senior...
so for catie hammond's birthday her parents rented a 'short party bus' to take us to greensboro. it was a lot of fun hanging out with everyone! it was me, catie, mcgee, sam, kane, leah, rob, courtney, vondy, and catie's friend willie. her parents came on the bus too. they're crazy!

april 23

carnation and toccatatones concert! went to the toccatatones end of year concert but had to leave at intermission for carnation ball. it was sad that it was my last carnation, but it was so much fun!

**also sorry that i haven't posted in forever and a year! my computer's been broken and at i.t. and i just got it back yesterday! but i've taken pictures each day!!! :)
