major major snow today. campus is shut down. i still had to give a tour thought. :( i've been wearing my rain boots all day and my socks were getting wet which confused me until i discovered this big hole in my left boot. fail.

no classes. got hit by a major snow storm. went to the piano concert for ids credit, which was actually pretty cool. they played a duet that i played with kb last spring. then went to bingo and wanted to win jay-z tickets and was 3 spots away in black out. :(

this is my academic advisor, judy isaksen. she is such a genuine person and is one of the best professors that i've had while being here at high point.

anyways, for digital photography i had to take pictures of someone who was "older." believe me, judy does not act old and i don't think of her as old, but she's the oldest person that i know that i'd feel comfortable to ask to photograph. so we had a little photo shoot today. i was learning how to balance natural light. i think it went pretty well.

i also dropped my field production class today and added ids. the class was just stressing me out and wasn't worth it.

note on yesterday's post: i may be tweaking my senior sem topic. which means more research. fun.

i lacked serious motivation to go to class and do school work today. i foresee my senioritis being a huge problem, especially since it's only the beginning of the semester. hopefully it'll get better. went to downtown greensboro with ashley to take some shots for digital photography. we had to take shots that showed perspective depth. i didn't really enjoy this assignment...

mmm. went to the steakhouse tonight for the first time. it was so so so good. it was fun. i went with emily, erin, tins, sydney, and shannon. went to small group. had a good time there. i got so much mail today too! jess sent me a birthday package which included a michigan state shirt, quote magnet and wonderful card. it made my day. i miss her and the 205 roomies a lot.

sooo this is a picture of what kelly made for me for my birthday! they're wooden blocks and she painted them to look like the chicago theater marquee. i love them. today i just relaxed and went to meetings. the toccatones called me during their rehearsal and sang happy birthday to me which made my day! :)

my birthday! i decided to upload 2 photos. the first one is of the hoagie i got at mellow mushroom, which was amazing! good food, good friends, and good times. the second one is of my birthday cake that my mom got for me! it's my last one as a college student. :( my birthday was a good day. i have amazing friends.

my birthday's tomorrow so the school gave me balloons, a card, and starbucks gift card. :)

sooo my senior seminar is already kicking my butt and it's only the second week of school. awesome. i also had sga. the senate needs to re-learn roberts rules.
