david johnson is a photographer who traveled to sudan. he photographed the people there and complied the images into a book with a few captions to tell their story. i bought it for my senior sem which i'm doing on the media coverage around the world of the darfur crisis. i've really enjoyed reading and learning more about it, but it breaks my heart to read about the devastation and evil that is occurring there. in a way having these feelings are good because it motivates me to read and research more for my paper.
